Jesse at Beer & Nosh has fallen head over heels in love with Frances. The only problem with the new market-driven menu in the Castro seems to be the fear that something particularly enticing won't be there on the next visit. Fortunately the small-plate "Bouchées" allow plenty of opportunities to share, and Jesse goes through the pork trotters, grilled calamari, panisse frites, Ricotta gnocchi, and grilled asparagus with radicchio.
