From Tasting Table comes word that a couple bars in town are pouring every San Franciscan's favorite after dinner pick-me-up directly from the tap. As if consuming 35% of the US supply of the stuff wasn't enough, sister bars Bullitt and Tonic on Polk Street are hooking up kegs and pumping it out with nitrogen gas, which bartenders are saying tastes just the same, "if not better" than its bottled counterpart.
