A former Aqua employee has created this tribute, a collection of over 2,000 pictures he took over the course of his four years of employment, to commemorate the "'grand dame' of fine dining and all her trappings," which he says, "will disappear soon." A call to Aqua's GM does not shed any light on what exactly will happen when Michael Mina takes over the lease on May 1. Apparently, the fate of the Aqua brand is "still up in the air" even though the switcheroo will complete in 16 days. Regardless, the anonymous Aqua employee is already doing "whatever possible to preserve it's legacy" and invites you to add images to the my life AQUA-tic flickr site. [EaterWire]
