Ritual Creates Coffee-Infused Beer with Speakeasy Brewery

SOMA - The beer geeks at City Beer Store recently announced they'll be hosting a "sort of release party" for the new Ritual Payback Porter this Thursday starting at 5 p.m. The Speakeasy Brewery guys have been working with Ritual Coffee Roasters for a few months on this "velvety" brew infused with a Brazilian coffee blend. You'll be able to try it alongside the original Payback Porter and some straight Ritual coffee at the celebration. [EaterWire]

SOFT-OPENINGS EXTRA - C Casa, the innovative taqueria from Made in Napa Valley brand founder Catherine Bergen, has soft-opened today in the old Rotisario space at Oxbow Market. Napa's newest Mexican stop implements ingredients from local growers, ranchers and farmers. According to Bergen, “We will continue to serve whole rotisserie chickens with a C Casa flair and accompaniments will included spiced rice, black beans and fresh homemade corn tortillas. POTRERO HILL - Perry's at the San Francisco Design Center is not opening this week as originally planned. The popular American restaurant some call a San Francisco institution will instead open its third outpost next Tuesday.
