For his Sunday review, Il Bauer marches through Gary Rulli's Marina revamp, Ristobar, and finds his "attempt to reinvent this space has been successful." Bauer is romanced by the "classy, unique interior," "refined, rustic Italian fare" of chef Angelo Auriana, and desserts that are "all five steps above what most restaurants serve." Food gets a three-star stamp of approval, while sputtering service brings the overall down to 2.5.
