Hog & Rocks: Classic Cocktails, Cured Ham and Seafood

New, 2 comments

We spoke of Hog & Rocks, the casual concept with bar food by Scott Youkilis (Maverick) and classic, unfancy cocktails from Eric Rubin (Tres Agaves) back in January. And now, from the bowels of some bar in Guadalajara, no doubt, comes more scoop on the impending Mission venture. On the "Hog" front, meats will be cured using agave syrup by the reigning ham champion of the Tennessee State Fair. And the "Rocks" camp is all about letting "people rediscover whiskey sours, Tom Collins, tequila sunrises" etc. with natural ingredients at affordable prices.

As far as the seafoody menu we mentioned way earlier, we learn of a fish & chips option. Sounds as if other items and details remain in-the-works.
