Thai restaurant, Another Monkey, officially opens for dinner tonight in the old Conduit space, and we've extracted an opening menu from the claws of management for your viewing pleasure. Now let's talk about the space a bit. We mentioned the architectural challenge owner Aom Phanthong was up against, namely reinventing a very distinctive Stanley Saitowitz design. Well now GrubStreet SF has this lovely slideshow, revealing all the warming tricks like Buddha statues, lotus flower candles, and the cute/scary monkey sculpture he's added to make the existing interior more fitting to his Thai menu with global persuasions.

UrbanDaddy highlights a few of the new dishes here and has an interior shot displaying the net effect of all those tchotchkes.
