Dine About Town, the bi-annual "culinary stimulus package," returns to San Francisco June 1-15, and the complete restaurant list went live on the San Francisco Convention & Visitors Bureau Web site on Monday. Folks in San Francisco always seem to get excited about the promo's two-course lunch menus for $17.95 and three-course dinner menus for $34.95 at over 100 restaurants around town. But do keep in mind, while the DAT deal may provide nice savings at some spots; the final bill often equals what you'd be spending on dinner anyway, and you'd be better off having a go at the full menu of options. So it's in your best interest to investigate what's offered at your restaurant of choice before booking a table.
New additions to the list this year include Bisou, E&O Trading Co., and Credo; and certain hot spots like Dosa on Fillmore, Anchor & Hope, and Absinthe are only participating in the lunch program. We imagine locals will be scrambling for reservations at perennial favorites like Foreign Cinema, Fish & Farm, Aziza, and Maverick, so you may want to peep the full list , and start planning.
