Maddeningly popular sandwicheria Ike's Place is headed to court next week, possibly facing eviction. Landlord Denman Drobisch, facing a lawsuit from the building's angry residents, sent owner Ike Shehadeh an eviction notice. The shop may also be out of code compliance thanks to an oven. Certainly lends some credence to the rumor that the shop is looking for a larger space in the Mission. If it disappears, may I recommend the sandwiches at Rhea's Deli? [NY Times] Photo by
