Beattie Cocktails at Healdsburg's Med-Moroccan Spoonbar

New, 3 comments

This gallery here provides an early peek inside Spoonbar; a breezy, 60-seat causal number slated to open with Healdsburg's new LEED-certified H2 Hotel on July 1st. Full of reclaimed acacia tabletops, bright green and blue Eames chairs and a singular light fixture made from a split tree trunk; the space was conceived by David Baker + Partners and Marie Fisher Interior Design. Former chef owner of Odyssey in Windsor, Rudy Mihal will use ingredients from nearby Sonoma producers in menus with Italian and Moroccan influences.

The beverage program is shaping up with six wines on tap and Bar Manager Scott Beattie will create cheaper versions of the "farm-to-glass" cocktails he pioneered a few blocks away at Cyrus. [EaterWire]
