A tipster writes to Eater HQ with the following, straight from the bowels of The Cats: "Wednesday night Morimoto just got done golfing in Tahoe and then went to Manresa where they turned him away for wearing golf shorts. He went down the street to Cin Cin in Los Gatos and had Japanese beer and ramen, which was on special. He invited chef Chris Schloss to his soft opening of his Napa restaurant." The tipster, who was seated at the bar nearby, remarks that Morimoto was dining with the chef at his coming-soon Riverfront development restaurant. Judging from Morimoto's attire at a Michelin two star, there won't be much of a dress code at his genre-bending wine country sushi mecca with brewery.
