Dish Mill Valley had an investor dinner last night, and here we are inside today on its official grand opening. You'll recall this is the latest, more casual venture from Peter Schumacher of Buckeye Roadhouse and Bungalow 44; and the format is to be quick-service by day and table-service by night. The design you see here was a collaboration between Schumacher, his wife, and Tim Dixon. Complete with outdoor patio and stone fireplace, it features a communal table crafted from a fallen tree and lights reclaimed from carton boxes - the sort of interior factoids that compliment sustainably sourced hot dogs quite nicely.
