Park and Rec Commission: In addition to Waffle Mania's recent approval for a cart in GG Park, Sam's Chowdermobile had its food truck permit approved. Starting this Friday through Sunday, they'll be dishing out lobster rolls, clam chowder and fish tacos behind the band shell near the de Young from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Going forward, they'll stick close to that schedule, but you can check twitter, just to be sure. Additionally, Liba, a Mediterranean-themed vendor serving wraps and salads received its mobile food truck permit to operate in Joseph Alioto Plaza. [EaterWire]

City Operations: Spuntino Di Ottimista in Cow Hollow is gunning for its beer and wine license so they can do wine tastings at the store; and Club Hong Kong at 517 Clement is in the process of transferring its liquor license over to 161 Erie Street in the Mission. Club Hong Kong's current number is not operating so we'll assume a pre-move shutter for now. No word yet as to whether they will operate the same concept -- said to be a hot ticket with the Asian businessman-and-hooker set, mind you -- at the new location. Both of these are now sitting with the Board of Supervisors for approval. [EaterWire]
