SFoodie reported yesterday Eddie Huang, chef owner at New York's BaoHaus, has found a vehicle, literally, for the food truck throwdown he posed earlier this week. You'll recall the initial controversy wherein Huang accused new SF food truck Chairman Bao of pilfering the name and concept behind his best selling "Chairman Bao" bun. Now it appears Huang will guest chef on SF's new Le Truc "bustaurant" at Oakland's Eat Real Festival in late August; and the Chairman Bao truck has apparently agreed to engage in the proposed Bao bun-off. In the meantime this blog post reveals Huang's current attitude about the whole thing.
"For the record, its not a throwdown. I'm just gonna cook. If you like pork, come see me."
