From Berkeleyside we learn Barry Augus, former president of Cabo Wabo Tequila, is running the Tres Agaves estate-bottled tequila business out of his home in Berkeley. The spirit is made from agave grown on a single estate in Tequila in the Mexican region of Jalisco. Augus is seeking outside financing at this stage with plans to sell 10,000 cases by the end of the year. [Berkeleyside]
