MICHELIN WIRE - Michelin announced today they are adding a Chicago guide to the mix. They've also recently launched editions covering Tokyo, Kyoto/Osaka and Hong Kong/Macao. In sort of related news, Michelin founder Jean-Luc Naret may be "in hiding" now with the SF inspection team as they prepare for the release of the 2011 San Francisco edition in Fall. [EaterWire]

EMBARCADERO - Epic Roasthouse is holding its second annual "High on the Hog" event on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The event takes place on the patio and $95 admission includes unlimited tasting of spit-roasted pig along with wines and sides from chef Jan Birnbaum.
