Press Club Adds Pizza; Street Food in the Haight; and MORE!

SOMA - Still glowing from their AIA/LA design award, Press Club just decided to add more items to its lounge menu, like a 3-cheese pizzetta with mushrooms, fennel and pepperoncini. They're also now bringing in DJs on the weekends from 8 p.m. to midnight, except for the first and last Fridays of the month when the music starts at 5 p.m. [EaterWire]

LOWER HAIGHT - Street Carts normally gravitate to the habitable Mission environs, but Haighteration has found an outlier near The Page on Divisadero. Gorilla Pete plans to appear Fridays from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and possibly late night Saturdays, serving up "highest quality" hot dogs and sausages, including veggie and chicken options. COW HOLLOW - UrbanDaddy, Thrillist and Tablehopper all have announcements with newsy tidbits on Unwind on Union, which is now open. Perhaps the neatest attraction here is the expansive new glass-ceilinged back patio; oh yes and of course David Adjey’s forthcoming Food Network "documentary," The Opener, which filmed a season here.
