SOMA - Signore Lucchesi sends good news that Bruce Hill's Zero Zero has opened for lunch. The menu will be a little scaled back, but he is adding something called a panouzzo. Is this San Francisco's first panouzzo? [ISSF]

EMERYVILLE - Remember when the Emeryville Trader Vic's outpost shuttered to tidy things up in April? Today we learn they plan to reopen on September 23rd. Expect a renovated interior and new menu items like Kalua pork and tamarind-braised lamb balls. [EaterWire]

OAKLAND - Thirty-four year old hallmark of East Bay cuisine, Bay Wolf, is preparing for change. The Chron reports owner Michael Wild is getting up there, so he is considering handing off the restaurant. And the new management may even change the name and concept. That said, he's determined to keep the same wait staff employed.
