7x7 Magazine Senior Editor and Tacolicious owner, Sara Deseran, has wrangled an impressive list of 26 local restaurants to participate in a charity auction of her creation: The San Francisco Community School Brown Bag Lunch Project. Places like Absinthe, Benu, Delfina and Nopalito will create a brown bag lunch experience for six on October 8th and they'll auction it off online beforehand to benefit the "very-much-in-need but very awesome" San Francisco Community School where Deseran's two boys go. Check out the full list of participants here and mark Sept. 20 on your calendar if you're so inclined, as that's when bidding begins. Until then, we can predict tried-and-tested deliciousness from spots like Il Cane Rosso and Bocadillos, but there's no telling what sort of bladder-braised madness Benu's Corey Lee will put together. Feel free to kill yourself guessing until the menus go live on the site Sept. 16th. [EaterWire]
