POTRERO HILL - Chef Laird Boles will oversee a Southern-inspired brunch this weekend at Spire, where dinner service just started last month. Hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The menu
has things like sweet potato benedict with slow poached eggs, shrimp and grits and sweet bourbon bread pudding. If you like bottomless mimosas; they're $10 here. [EaterWire]

COW HOLLOW - Cafe Des Amis is just putting the finishing touches on the brunch menu they'll start to serve this weekend. According to Tablehopper hours are Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and they're on theme with brunch items like duck confit and croque-madame. [Tablehopper]
