According to Absinthe bartender Carlos Yturria the term "mixologist" was invented as a joke by Knickerbocker magazine and has since been adopted as a serious bar term. So that would make anyone who calls himself a mixologist a serious foochebag and would probably get anyone else using the term dangerously close to foochebag status.
