CIVIC CENTER - Show Dogs -- the intrepid hot dog dispensary L'Unterman called "just the place to watch the parade of humanity flowing by as you eat organic hot dogs" -- has made some changes just in time for its one year anniversary. Improved outdoor seating and a new permanent bike rack create just the setting for this new much-expanded menu. It includes things like a grilled Pacific yellowtail sandwich ($8), a cheesesteak ($7.50) and even entrees like steak frites ($12) and sausage and kraut ($12). Chef/owners Gayle Pirie and John Clark are having a party to celebrate all this on October 15th, but you can try everything new right now. [EaterWire]

PLYWOOD UPDATE - Sharon Ardiana's new pizza place, Ragazza, should be opening next Wednesday at 311 Divisadero. Remember, Ardiana also owns Bauer fave Gialina in Glen Park and ragazza means "girl" in Italian. [Haigheration]

SAUSALITO - Homegrown Marin will showcase local artisan treats tomorrow from 1 to 6 p.m. at Studio 33. Everything from "bahn bi burgers" to bacon brittle will be offered. More here. [Daily Candy]
