CAV Wine Bar, Now a Private Event Space & Retail Wine Store

New, 2 comments

Building off of the rumors circulating back in August and this Inside Scoop report that went down earlier this week, we chatted with CAV Wine Bar owner Pamela Busch today about her future plans. Busch tells us CAV Wine Bar is currently living on as a retail wine shop and special events venue. They've already hosted several private parties successfully and she adds it's "a natural for the space." Busch goes on, "I've been fortunate to have a series of outstanding chefs, starting with Christine Mullin, then Michael Lamina and ending with John Maher, but wine has always been my first love. We gave it a good run (5 years!), but it's time for me to do something else even more wine-focused, as I found myself moving more toward retail and less toward food service, even at CAV. Reports of CAV's demise are a bit premature -- we're still open, just in a different capacity, and hope wine lovers will still drop in to get that hard-to-find bottle for the weekend's dinner party."
