Plow Turns Up Breakfast and Lunch in Potrero Hill

Take a look inside Plow, that little lunch-and-breakfast spot we first mentioned in May, aiming to bring a down-to-earth farm sensibility to Potrero Hill sophisticates. Clean lines, salvaged wood floors, French Tolix metal chairs, sweeping 7-foot windows and teeming rays of sunshine lend character to the 800-square-foot interior. Remember the owners here are Joel Bleskacek and Maxine Siu who already have lots of friends in the neighborhood due to their loyally followed Ruby Wines. Back in the day, Sui worked with Michael Tusk and Paul Bertolli at Oliveto then moved on to 42 Degrees, so it's no surprise the early menu she crafted with her husband already reads beautifully. As SFoodie notes, Plow is still waiting on an ABC license, which will eventually allow them to host special wine dinners. In the meantime, expect menu items and beverage offerings to roll out at a natural clip over the next two weeks.
