Grub Menu, Ebisu Mochi and Benu Toilet Paper, Revealed!

New, 1 comment

PLYWOOD - Grub on Valencia is way later than expected, but its menu's Surf, Turf, Earth, Burger Bar and Mac n' Cheese Bar sections were caught on camera today by an Eater tipster, bless her heart. As you see on the sign here, dinner will be served nightly from 6 to 1 a.m. and there are plans for a weekend brunch with mimosas offered from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Take these pics as an indicator that Grub is getting closer. The further intelligent are encouraged to send things this way.

FIDI - Ebisu's new takeout window in the FiDi is serving some inventive-sounding mochi in flavors like lavender with fig, raspberry-honey-black pepper, carrot-kiwi-cream cheese and mint chocolate-banana. [EaterWire]

RUTH REICHL - Madame Ruth has been tweeting her way through SF since Wednesday. See what she has to say about Quince, Boulette's Larder, Little Skillet, Zuni, 4505 Meats and the Korean tacos at Namu! She leaves today. [@ruthreichl]

TP WATCH 2010 - And then you can add Ms. Hopper's tweet to our earlier report: "benu hands down has the softest toilet paper in the city. jus' sayin'." [@Tablehopper]
