Food for Thought Returns; CUESA Sunday Supper; More!

THE MISSION - Last year's inaugural Food for Thought event raised over $35,000 for Mission Graduates by way of restaurants donating a portion of proceeds to the charity. Now this year's event is shaping up nicely with 20 spots like Bar Bambino, Spork (pictured), Front Porch and Mission Beach Cafe already on board. The event will happen on November 10th this year and we'll keep you posted on further details as the date nears. [EaterWire]

CUESA - All the big guys: Mourad Lahlou, Chris Cosentino, Craig Stoll, you get the picture; will gather this weekend for the 8th Annual CUESA Sunday Supper, benefiting CUESA’s education programs. The gala event also includes a cocktail reception and live auction. More information and tickets can be found here on the Web site. [EaterWire]

RAMEN - The Ken Ken Ramen pop-up at Panchita's we broke to you way back when had to pop on out of there due to some nefarious deeds on behalf of the ownership. Now according to SFoodie, Panchita's has been so brazen to attempt ramen on its own. Meanwhile Ken Ken seeks a new home, so if you've got any ideas , we'll send them on. [@kenkenramen, SFoodie]
