TENDERLOIN - Tomorrow Koko's Cocktails is doing its bourbon and bacon happy hour from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. All whiskey orders come with a honking slice of Applewood smoked bacon. They'll also be playing bluegrass in honor of this weekend's Bluegrass Festival in Golden Gate Park. [EaterWire]

CHEF SHUFFLES - Perbacco let us know they hired new pastry chef Suzanne LaFleur to create a new dessert menu with zeppole, torrone and fig leaf panna cotta. LaFleur worked under Bruce Hill at The Waterfront and was pastry chef at Silk’s Restaurant at the Mandarin Oriental. [EaterWire]
