As promised, herein lies your photo gallery recap of the Plum opening last night. As you see above, Daniel Patterson has -- fittingly, one might say -- grown out the scruff for his new Oakland environs. He was having fun last night interacting from an open kitchen for the first time ever. Things were bustling. They served 92 people and had to turn away 30 at the door. A huge rush came in at 10:30 p.m. and the dining room was packed at midnight, proving the late night dining idea is a good one for the 'hood. D-Patt sold out of the trotter burger, but mentioned that nothing on the menu
was ignored. Now it must be assumed some of you were there for this ceremonious popping of Plum's cherry; so please do us proud and share opening reflections here in the comments.
