AWARDS SEASON - Citysearch announced its Best Of Citysearch Restaurants 2010 awards, determined by popular vote, today on the site. We're going to ruin some of this by telling you that Isa got best restaurant, Catch got best brunch and North Beach Pizza got best pizza. Eh. [EaterWire, Citysearch]

MISSION - Not a month after El Rincon's attempted rebrand with Marcel's Kitchen, owner Vimla Patel gave Marcel the old heave ho. Our sources tell us he tried to leave on the best terms possible and this tweet would confirm that. Apparently the neighborhood was taking to his soul food offerings nicely; Ms. Patel, not so much. Next. [SFoodie, EaterWire]

CHEF SHUFFLES - Just weeks after Jeremy Fox and Daniel Patterson parted ways, Deanie Fox -- who separated from Jeremy close to the time the two "amicably split" from Ubuntu -- has hopped over to Daniel Patterson's baby, Coi to help Bill Corbett execute his pastry menu as he prepares for the two coming Patterson launches, Bracina and Plum. Deanie left Manresa for the new post, which will continue for an indeterminate amount of time, and Gary Danko alum Belinda Leong will take over for her. [GrubStreet]

CHEF SHUFFLES EXTRA - Rob Lam is out at Social Kitchen and Brewery and Huy Nguyen is moving in as executive chef. Nguyen was formerly at TaDa! Catering in Santa Monica and also out on tour with bands, crews and "VIPs." He'll keep the beer-centric menu focus at SKB and will be carrying the beer focus into dessert as well. [EaterWire]

@chezpim - Non-shocker: The House of Pim liked Benu, per this tweet. [@chezpim]
