We now have a reason for the impending closure of Sutter Street fixture Cafe Kati. Inside Scoop reports chef owner Kirk Webber is indeed selling the restaurant due to a rare tissue-destroying disease he's been suffering from. Here's hoping the sale speeds Webber's path to recovery. And since Kati won't close up until mid-March, loyals have a bit of a time for a final meal or two and some proper goodbyes. At this point, not much is known of the replacement beyond the name: Roostertail Rotisserie. [ISSF]
