UPPER HAIGHT - The Whole Foods on Stanyan Street is scheduled to open on February 16th. There is already a substantial amount of graffiti on the building. [SF Citizen]
MARIN - Adriano Paganini of Delarosa and Beretta fame is taking over the Jack in the Box in Mill Valley to open another outpost of his Castro burger joint, Super Duper. He's going to keep the drive through operation and install solar panels to make it all modern and swanky. Estimated opening time? Summer. [ISSF]
BAYVIEW - Often thought to serve the best soul food in the Bay Area, Brown Sugar Kitchen is hoping to open a second outpost in the same Third Street development Radio Africa, Fresh & Easy and the second Limon Rotisserie are going into. Late May is the first opening estimate. [ISSF]
THE MISSION - The old Costa del Sol (4423 Mission) is under construction, and SFoodie spotted the sign for a new Honduran restaurant Los Catrachos moving in. This will be the second Hounduran restaurant in SF. The other one is El Paisa (3322 Mission). [SFoodie]
THE MISSION EXTRA - The Pollo Campero Guatemalen fried chicken joint coming to the Mission has posted some renderings of the future storefront in its window. [Uptown Almanac]
THE MISSION XX-TRA - Coming soon to the former Papa Potrero's Pizza space: Wok & Go. As in, you can "walk" and "go" there. We know, it doesn't make sense! We're guessing they'll serve some sort of Asian food. [Mission Mission]
RINCON HILL - Beale Street Bar & Grille, which closed in August with a plan to reopen at 142 Minna Street, has applied for a liquor license. According to their website they hope to have everything wrapped up and ready to go by March. [EaterWire]
