Charlie Parker has quit his job as chef at Plum, not even a year after he signed on. Plum chef-owner Daniel Patterson has already appointed his corporate chef Ron Boyd to take Parker's place. The move is quite similar in character to the abrupt departure of chef Jeremy Fox from Plum in the early going. The past year has also seen D-Patt part ways with Lauren Kiino; and Coi chef Evan Rich is on his way out as he works on a new restaurant. Daniel Patterson says he's very supportive of Rich's new project in the works. Nevertheless, these aren't boring times in the HR department over in Patterson Ville. Parker has a Rising Star chef nod from the Chron, so people will be watching to see where he lands.
