CASTING CALLS - Really it was only a matter of time before the reality dating scene and the food industry made babies, and now we have their first offspring, a "new, unscripted show for a major cable network." All hopeful culinary bachelors should go here. [EaterWire, Examiner, ISSF]

THE UNDERGROUND - This interesting sounding pair have launched a new supper club in the Mission, Under Cover of Knife: "Lasting for an average of three hours and seating a maximum of 9 people, we will present the diners with a four course meal and as much wine and cocktails as our jovial party can handle!" Future dates and reservations here. [EaterWire]

BRAND EXTENSIONS - Announcing Humphry Slocombe caramels, now for sale in a Salt 'N Peppa flavor with Maldon sea salt, and three kinds of pepper. SFoodie says there are more versions on the way too, like brown sugar-fennel. [SFoodie]
