New Reality Show Seeks "Culinary Bachelors," More!

THE BRUNCH BUNCH - Chef Ryan Scott's Brunch Drunk Love has changed its hours. They're now open from to 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. due to "a high demand for earlier reservations." This happens every Saturday and Sunday at Bruno's, and you can see the full menu on this here website. [EaterWire]

CASTING CALLS - Really it was only a matter of time before the reality dating scene and the food industry made babies, and now we have their first offspring, a "new, unscripted show for a major cable network." The producers behind Dirty Jobs, Ghost Hunter and Swamp Loggers have thrown out a line for a single male chef, restaurateur or serious foodie to star in the series and "date a select group of amazing women." All hopeful culinary bachelors should go here. [EaterWire, Examiner, ISSF]

THE UNDERGROUND - This interesting sounding pair have launched a new supper club in the Mission, Under Cover of Knife: "Lasting for an average of three hours and seating a maximum of 9 people, we will present the diners with a four course meal and as much wine and cocktails as our jovial party can handle!" Future dates and reservations here. [EaterWire]

BRAND EXTENSIONS - Announcing Humphry Slocombe caramels, now for sale in a Salt 'N Peppa flavor with Maldon sea salt, and three kinds of pepper. SFoodie says there are more versions on the way too, like brown sugar-fennel. [SFoodie]

POP-UPS - Haven, the forthcoming "California casual" Oakland project from Daniel Patterson and Kim Alter, is offering a preview of sorts via a series of pop-up dinners at D-Patt's other Oakland restaurant, Plum. The next one happens on Nov. 15. Find out more about what to expect here, and then make your res by calling Plum. [EBX]
