Big-time Yerba Buena Lane brasserie Bluestem will officially serve its first plate of eggs Benedict this weekend. From here on out, brunch will go down every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with steak and eggs, shrimp and grits, and—well—why don't you just look after the hop to see the whole menu. (It's not on the website, just yet.) Please know a grass-fed burger is also available, and the management sounds particularly excited about a Bloody mary with a bbq sauce rim. [EaterWire]
Meanwhile in the Mission, Giordano Bros. (3108 16th Street) is gearing up for its first Friday lunch service tomorrow. They'll open at 11:30 a.m. to start serving the French-fry stuffed sandwiches people love them for. [EaterWire]
