Shimo%20Sayonara.jpgThis year Douglas Keane notched 2.5 Bauer stars for his new Healdsburg steak restaurant Shimo. Then he transformed it into a wine-free noodle house. And now it is closed. Keane is currently entertaining offers to take over the space, but he might just hang onto it and try something new next year. Keane adds, "Just because it’s my passion doesn’t mean it will translate to success.” A hard lesson for any chef to learn. [ISSF]
