There was a rumor going around that Bottega owner and Next Iron Chef man Michael Chiarello was looking to open something "experimental" in Napa and something "not Italian" in San Francisco proper. Clarifying the situation a bit, Inside Scoop reports that he's now actively looking for "100-seat locations, preferably downtown or on the waterfront."
