MIGRATIONS - Everyone wondering, waiting, and musing about the impending move for pancake warrior Dottie's True Blue pay attention: owner Kurt Abney will be taking over the beleaguered Passion Cafe. He plans to get up-and-running mid-December, excited the space has two times the seating of his current location, and that gorgeous outdoor patio. Hopefully all the other new things nearby: Pearl's, etc., will help keep the crazy at bay. [Tablehopper]

TALK TURKEY - Founder of Tante Marie's Cooking School Mary Risley offers some sage words of wisdom for your turkey cooking exploits in this new YouTube video (with over 10,000 views): "Just put the f*cking turkey in the oven." It's more important to have fun, concentrate on the gravy, and drink Pinot Noir. [SFoodie]

FOOD TRUCKS - Congratulations San Francisco, you just got a beer truck. Hugh Shick's BrewTruc houses 93 gallons of beer in 40 feet of truck, and according to Thrillist, "you can drink while it's moving." [Thrillist]

PASTRY CHEFFAGE - World Culinary Olympics gold medalist and former Per Se pastry chef Mellisa Root has joined chef Peter Rudolph in the kitchen at Rosewood Sand Hill's Madera. Meanwhile in SF, another product of Thomas Keller's tutelage, former French Laundry pastry chef Devin McDavid's new pastry menus are now in place at Quince and Cotogna. Tasting Table can tell you more about his house-baked quince broiche bread pudding. [EaterWire, Tasting Table]
