Inside Tacolicious and Mosto, Now Open in the Mission

After a busy weekend of friends and family dinners, today is the day Tacolicous and Mosto open to the public in the Mission. We've shared a bundle on this hot new twosome in the Eater Archives: its retractable roof-enclosed outdoor seating area, life-like mural of Dolores Park, house-aged tequila, al pastor tacos, and the Mexico City slant to the decor. Now please enjoy the full reveal on the interior here, starting with light-filled Tacolicious and moving on to the moody adjacent tequila bar Mosto, and it's ceiling "tiled" with more than 3000 canning jars.

At Tacolicious, chef Telmo Faria's will offer a near exact replica of the Marina's fare (save for the addition of some roasted mussels that wouldn't fly in the Marina for various reasons). At Mosto, he'll have this brand new menu of seasonally changing botanas, four Mexican beers and two wines on tap, plus a boat-load of tequilas. Visit Tacolicious daily from 11:30 a.m. to midnight or Mosto's daily, from 5 p.m. to midnight.
