A First Peek Inside Namu Gaji, and More

THE MISSION - The Namu brothers checked out their new izakaya locale in the Mission today and they showed the world some pictures on Twitter. As you can see here the Japanese handmade tiles have been installed and the empty carcass of the space is rather large. The boys hope to get Namu Gaji open some time in January. [Twitter, EaterWire]

LUCKY PEACH - On Nov. 15 McSweeney's will host a party at Heart wine bar (1270 Valencia St.) to get the word out about the second edition of The Lucky Peach, which promises "A Sexxxy Drink Recipe That'll Blow His Mind," among other things. $12 admittance includes wine, beer, sweets from New York's Momofuku Milk Bar, SF's Miette and more.
