The annual Food for Thought fundraiser happens today across the Mission District, and it works like this. Book a reservation at one of the 25 participating restaurants (places like Front Porch, Mission Beach Cafe, and Bar Bambino), and 25-50% of profits from the food and drinks you consume will go to Mission Graduates, a Mission district nonprofit that helps grade school and high school students prepare for and complete college.
