Bon Bondage, Food Porn and Heart Pâté, Or Valentine's in SF

According to the lovely press releases that have been flooding the Eater inbox for the last month, most restaurants around town are doing a fixed price thingamajig for Valentine's Day. As you can imagine, some are ridiculous, some actually sound fun and some -- like the dinners at La Folie, Ame and 25 Lusk -- are long sold out. Now we bring you a last-minute list of the quirkier, cooler and more affordable things that stuck out of the slew. All of them, to our knowledge, are still available.

We learn via tweet from Pizzeria Delfina's chef Anthony Strong "this V-Day! our pizzeria in PacHeights running Spaghetti&Meatballs for 2, w/ a bottle of Chianti (in wicker) guaranteed to seal the deal." 7x7 dubs it Lady n' Tramp style spaghetti and kindly provides the price: $40. Zare at Fly Trap's four-course lovebird's menu is $69. That is all. [EaterWire]

On Sunday and Monday, Avedano's Meats is hosting a Lonely Hearts Valentine’s Feast in the "Udder Room." It starts with "apps and bubbles" at 7 p.m. then on to a communal feast with things like deviled eggs stuffed with duck heart pate, grilled sweetheart ribeye and fernet ice cream for dessert. SFoodie has more on this one. [SFoodie]

Stone Brewing Company has made a limited quantity of a beer called "Double Bastard with Chipotle" that Paragon Restaurant in San Francisco and Berkeley is pairing with a TCHO chocolate sampler. $7 gets you 10.5 ounces of beer and 4 chocolates. [EaterWire]

Heart Wine Bar tweets, "V-Day menu at Heart, yo: Red Stripe-braised oxtails w/scotch bonnet peppers, house-salted cod "rundown" with chayote, slow-smoked jerk pork sliders and more. Big ups! [@Heartwine]

Ottimista has a cheap and cheerful offer "kicked off by a Prosecco aperitivo." Their three courser is $35 per person with a $20 per person optional wine pairing. [EaterWire]

In a family friendly gesture, Rigolo in Laurel Village is offering its $24.99 3-course prix fixe to adults and kids eat free. [EaterWire]

Elizabeth Falkner's $65 five course menu at Orson begins with a "tease" of butternut squash with curry and ends with "bon bondage": bon bons with aromatics and blindfolds. [EaterWire]

Gott's Roadside locations in SF and St. Helena will be serving a "Black & Pink" strawberry milk chocolate "swirled with rich chocolate syrup" through February 20th. We've seen it and it doesn't look brown as one would expect, but is actually quite Valentine's appropriate. [EaterWire]

Lafitte is hosting a "culinary adventure" called “Food Porn” on Sunday. From the newsletter: "Prepare to make your taste buds blush – all the kitchen asks is that you 'trust us!' Five courses are offered for $125 per person." They are also doing a $95 Valentine’s “Bleeding Heart” menu on Monday comprised entirely of four courses meant to be shared. [EaterWire]
