Solstice Closing For One Week To Redo Menu and Interior

As of Sunday, Solstice Lounge will close for about a week to remodel its interior and overhaul the food, cocktail and wine menus. When they reopen on March 1, the neighborhood favorites like mac n' cheese and kobe sliders will still be available, but there will be a new family-style section on the menu and more of the sharable small plates they came onto the scene with in '03. Making things oh-so-2011, there will also be wine on-tap: 2 reds and 2 white and the cocktail list will include "more classic drinks," according to owner Matt Sturm. Although he notes the best-selling raspberry mojito will still be offered off-menu. Those in town tomorrow night may wish to drop by the "say goodbye to the old Solstice" party they're starting at 5 p.m. "We're clearing out all the liquor and wine," says Sturm. "The deals will be deep." [EaterWire]
