Hot Chefs Round 1: Sharp, Moriarity, Fox, Selvera, Marks

The first round of eliminations in Eater's Annual Hottest Chefs Competition continues. Following yesterday's major upset brought on by fast and furious voting, in which 25 Lusk's Matthew Dolan overthrew reigning champ Louis Maldonado. It was a gritty fight to the end as Anthony Strong of Delfina started to close in on the competition, but Dolan held the lead firmly when the polls closed this morning at 10 a.m.

Today, in another exciting rumpus: Teague Moriarity of Sons & Daughters faces Brandon Sharp of Solage, Jeremy Fox of Tyler Florence Restaurant Group, Ian Marks of Beast and the Hare and Mike Selvera of Bar Crudo.
