It appears as if Jeremy Ogur, the owner of The Artists Alley Gallery in Union Square is turning his business into a beer and wine bar of sorts, something called Bar Madira to be exact. His space is a large one, 4,000 square-feet, and we imagine he'll keep art involved in the new concept to some extent. Ogur has done the speed dating in house in the past and is on record supporting the advent of Good Vibrations next door, so we have some inkling of what kind of guy he is, though there's really no telling what else may be involved at this point. Thankfully, the EaterWire is now open for additional tips.
