Google Launches Recipe View, Patxi's Gets Slice Nod, More

THE GOOGLE - Today everyone's favorite search engine announced the addition of Recipe View, a new search function that will let users narrow their results to show only recipes. Search for anything from tomatoes, to marijuana to the San Francisco Giants, then you can narrow results with the filters on the left: ingredients, cook time and calories. PIZZAWIRE - The pizza nerds over at Slice have decided that Patxi's has the best Chicago-style deep dish pizza in the Bay Area. It "crammed in lots of nice, stringy cheese, which made the pizza seem luxurious," "toppings were delicious," there's "zesty, slightly spicy sauce," and the only problem is that the "crust overwhelmed the rest of the pizza." Despite this gripe, "Patxi's is a worthy specimen of Chicago-style pizza many miles from the Windy City. [Slice]

NOB HILL - The dust has settled since last year's drama and now Gina Milano will be relaunching Le Club with an interior update and a new Southern-style menu from chef Randy Lewis who worked at Tavern at Lark Creek in '09.
