At Last! The Humphry Slocombe Ice Cream Book

JakeGodbyBook.jpgHumphrey Slocombe, the local ice cream innovator who's garnered national attention for his outside-the-box creations like hot mess (vanilla ice cream, butterscotch, bananas, marshmallow fluff), is giving us a book. The Humphry Slocombe Ice Cream Book will be the collaborative effort of Slocombe owners Jake Godby and Sean Vahey and Chronicle writer/former Eater editor Paolo Lucchesi with photography by Vahey and Frankie Frankeny. It will combine ice cream recipes with stories about the business and, according to Godby, should be out before the end of the year. [SFoodie]
