Remembering Joey Alioto, Inside Ty-Flo's El Paseo, More!

SAD NEWS DEPT. - In loving memory of long-time restaurateur Joseph Alioto, who died a week ago today, Alioto's restaurant and Alioto’s Waterside Cafe will be closed this Wednesday, March 30. A memorial service for Mr. Alioto will be held at 10 a.m. on that day at Saints Peter and Paul Church (666 Filbert St., San Francisco). The family only closes the restaurant on Christmas and when a family member passes away. [EaterWire]
