In January, all systems were go for a February opening of Ike's Place on 16th Street across from the former beleaguered Castro location. The City obviously didn't read the memo. Ike's tells GrubStreet his application has been awaiting approval since late December of last year and there's still a bit of red tape remaining. He's hiring for the new location, however, and the good people at Lime have extended their pop-up arrangement with Ike's in the meantime. [GrubStreet]
