Charanga Starts Latin America-Style Brunch This Weekend

Fresh from a glowing Guardian review, Charanga has added the brunch. The Puerto Rican/Latin American influence is in full effect with items like coconut pancakes with bacon-wrapped maduros (sweet plantains), a rendition of the traditional Costa Rican breakfast gallo pinto and more. Since they now have a liquor license, there are brunch cocktails, with liquor, too. Greyhounds, Mexican coffees, screwdrivers and shandies are all fair game; and they are doing a special $1 mimosa or $2 bloody Mary promo through June 1 to incite potential brunch eaters. Early reports, as always, will be kindly accepted in the tip jar or below.
