Thomas Keller Dubbed "Chevalier" of The French Legion of Honor

New, 1 comment

Among countless accolades, Thomas Keller has been named "Best Chef" several times by the James Beard Foundation, "Doctor of Culinary Arts" by Johnson & Wales University, and now today he can add "Chevalier" to the list. The French Legion of Honor established by Napoleon Bonaparte in 1802, has given Keller the Chevalier or "Knight" title for his epic work with French cuisine in America. He'll join Alice Waters and Julia Child as the third American in history to receive this honor. An 85-year-old Paul Bocuse will present the ribbon award to Keller at Per Se in New York later this month.
